Default Backfire...

I have a test pipe and a Spoon exhaust. Will be getting a nice header pretty soon (hopefully a 4-1) After installing my S/C kit also, will i be getting backfire?? I am just worried that i will damage my rear bumper...

Most likely, but only on high rpm shifts. There's a real good chance you'll shoot a few flames as well

And you won't damage your bumper although you'll want to clean it pretty often.

I can already hear a backfire in my car with only a T1R Testpipe and a J's Racing 60RS exhaust, when shifting at redline. I doubt there are any flames tho. It all depends on your tune and how rich you'll be running.

The term "backfire" is not used for flames out of the exhaust pipe.

Backfire means that a mixture of fuel and air will drift back into the intake system and ignites there, potentially blowing up some parts in the intake system.

Just so you know

Same thing can also occur in your exhaust pipes,if you have quite a bit of overlap.
