what is the slot bhind the radio door for? sorry for the newb question

the old owner of my car kept business cards there. i dont use it, so its pretty useless for me.

I put the parking ticket there when I leave my car at the airport. That way, I don't have to worry about misplacing it or having to go through my luggage trying to find the pesky thing when I return.
