This is done with trade-in, meaning you need to send in your ECU to have it tweaked.
This is not good if you are located outside of Japan.
If you really can pull it off, try the Amuse instead of Backyard.
You can find some dyno reading in one of Japanese S2000 site, it is pretty impressive. Amuse initially don't want to do the US spec car but if you are willing to take chance, I am sure they will take it from you.
