Bad GAS from shell, Engine problems,....

Shell V-Power 91 octane in Irvine, So Cal is $3.69/gal, almost 30% more than East coast.

I use Shell V-Power here for $3.31 per gallon in Guam.
my car is running fine at 26mpg..

Sorry to hear about the gas problem, but I am glad everything worked out. As to where to be sure you are getting good gas, I read about this in some car magazine a while back. It is a list of retailers whose gas has been approved by vehicle manufacturers. Not just premium gas, but all grades. And it would be great except Shell just messed up on rijowysock's last fill up.
