sorry hear about the stories man! I went through the bad luck phase with cars too. Best advise man at this point is get rid of it for another S if you can afford to. Honostly with so many damages and repairs that car will never be the same... and you won't feel comfortable in it. The main factor for me is once I loose my comfort with the car I loose my interest and everything else with it. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Get rid of the car and buy a skateboard... they're much cheaper to repair.

Since ive had my S ive....

Almost ran into a deer but avioded it.

Threw a rod twice.

And have had it in the shop i would say 40 percent of the actual time ive owned it over 3 years now.

I still love it though. Its one of thoses cars that make you feel goooooooood.

Did you forget to add a . when you stated 14K or whatever? I mean wtf how much was spent on fixing the car. It's more than buying a brand new S.

Anyways, I'd strip that car completely and build it for track use. I mean seriously... I think that car's got some curses which might be useful for track use.... like destroying every other car on the track.

i had the same love/hate with my civic... that car has been fine for a year now since it has been in a locked garage for that exact amount of time... my shizz started exactly 24 hours (to the minute)

That was very unfortunate.
Some people have cars that get into trouble no matter how hard they try to avoid it.
If I were you, I'd trade it in for a newer S.
Hope the best of luck.

I made it to the local body shop before they closed yesterday. They estimated it would be about $1,500.00 to repair. Ouch! So I went ahead and put in a claim with my Insurance Courier. Even though it was considered a hit and run I still have to pay my $500.00 deductable. Attached is the latest damage. It's taken from my camera phone but as you can see from the reflection off the Suburban in the background the quarter panel is creased in and the bumper is scratched down to the plastic in some areas.

VIK2000- Yes, 14K or $14,000.00. That's not blood on the S. My brother was pushed into a blackberry bush and all the juice splattered every where.

So at this point I am really fed up with all this bad luck so once I get my car back I have to determine what the heck I'm going to do. maybe I need to burn some sage inside to warn off all the bad spirits.
