Default Bad Night for S2ks

So tonight driving back from downtown my brake caliper on my front right wheel decides to pop loose after i drove over a few bumps. My wheel locked up and grinded really bad. The inside of my wheel has two 2mm deep grooves in it .....

Got it towed to my driveway and as im on the freeway i see a red s2k on the side with its emergency lights on...

Not a lucky night for s2ks..

Well see how bad the damage is after i pop the wheels off and inspect..

Yeah that is NEVER suppose to happen. Even heat cycles of track use should never let this happen. I will say though that Honda suggests 80 ft-lbs for stock lug nuts. I went to tail of the dragon and ran the car hard, all lugs were at about 20 or less ft-lbs when I was finished and I heard a weird noise.

Did you use a torque wrench? Maybe you overtorqued the bolts?
