it obviously wasnt torqued. forget torque, it wasn't even tight.

Could be worse....my buddy had the lower control arm ball joint on his Integra snap while driving 45 mph, then the full weight of the right front landed on the inside of his rim and sent him into the ditch! Feel lucky.

Also that red S2000....the dude may have just really had to take a piss? lol.

Jebus. This is why I make sure everything is torqued correctly by taking 5 times as long as anyone to do incredibly simple things. Seriously.

it was a bad mistake by us but im very lucky it popped loose at 30mph on a straight road.

Im really glad the damage is mainly cosmetic (2 decent grooves on inside of front right wheel) and the fix costs $5 (8x22 grade 10 bolt)

I guess that is what happens when you don't tighten bolts after you do brakes. :sigh:
