Hi, does my F20C sound good? Car was warm and it has 78000 miles. Just got AP2 retainers and keepers and valve adjustment. TCT is OEM and i don't know if it has been replaced in the past. Thanks in advance!

Might as replace it with a Billman TCT to rule it out and even if it's not, you don't have to worry about the TCT being a problem ever again.

 

Its probably not tct at that low a mileage. But agree, you'll need to replace it at some point, and billman tct is unequaled. Lifetime guarantee. So no downside to replacing early.

In fact, replacing before there is an issue will result in less chain and related cam timing system wear (guides,etc). So its good to replace it early.

Normally I'd suggest maybe its a bit too early at your miles, but since it'd help rule something out, its a reasonable approach.

But I must also add, if you post a video taken from a few feet in front of car, hood closed, engine fully warm, idle, Billman can tell you if your noise is tct or not.
