Default Badge Questions

I am thinking about replacing the stock chrome front and rear H badges with black chrome. I cannot seem to find a source when searching the forums. Anyone know of a source with decent prices(other than the dealers)?

Also, I have seen a picture of a car that had the chrome side badge S in red. The 2000 was left stock and it looked very nice IMO. Anyone know where to get those red Ss?

Trevor at H&A has the best prices on all OEM S2000 parts, period. They are one of the S2ki board sponsors too.

Familar with Handa, ordered the OEM cover, oil filters and other odds and ends from them. But the OEM black badges are a solid piece. I am looking for front/rear H badges that are identical to the stock chrome except in black. (Cut out like the stock badges, not solid)

Also do not see a red S badge for the side on Handa's site.

All u need to do is take of your stock H badges and buy any color paint and, a clear coat, paint 'em clear coat 'em, and you'll be set!
i think that you can buy black chrome in a can.

I plan on doing it myself in a few days, it's easy and doesn't cost that much.

You confused me with the "Black Chrome" since that what HandA calls theirs. I like this type since it prevents the wax, dirt, or whatever from getting inside the emblem.

Have also been aware of Rick's, and have purchased other stuff from him. Guess it is just a matter of taste, but I think that a black H like the stock badges would look really good, (and a red S on the side badges).

I swear I saw a post or a picture this spring with exactly this combination, I must be losing it, 'cause now I cannot find it.....

BTW, I thought of painting the stock badges, but worry about the paint coming off with age, especially the front one......
