All force induction systems were not built alike. See what fits your needs and budget between these two right here.

I’m guessing they are sponsors for this site considering the 2 most common and most discussed blowers on the forums are 2 other not discussed brands. Good job providing pretty pictures of almost “now” irrelevant blowers.
I was going to chime in here and say they're basically comparing 2 obsolete kits. Even if the kits were still currently being offered, SOS is the better option in comparison of design. Granted, that's strictly speaking for a Paxton blower setup. I did a quick glance and apparently they're starting to sell these kits again? Lol. Saying that "Vortech can still be found from some retailers" still means it's a discontinued kit....
Overall just what the **** lol.
Nice comparison. I am a Vortech endorsee. Got a V2 for my AP1 project. It definitely wins out in the looks department by far and is strong (can take a beating and come back for more - 775HP! capable (wonder what the belt slip will be like then...))
One thing to note is that the VTEC sandwich plate is weak. Common break point eventually for most people. It should have been more robust from the get go...
CT apparently offers an easier install?? I've heard that one or more of their head units required you to bend one of the folds of your cross brace in the engine bay for the oil return! Don't know which generation of blower that was though...

Even if both brands weren't available new you could still get them second hand and that too makes them relevant. There are plenty great builds featuring both these kits right here on our favourite forum which, you guessed it, makes them relevant
The fact that you can still get them means that they aren't 'irrelevant'...

The first sentence even (wrongly) claims it is a battle of the best:
CT Engineering, formerly known as Comptech, and Vortech are considered the two best supercharger options for the S2000.
Didn't CT Engineering go out of business earlier this year (or late last year)? I just think this is a poorly written article and not a case of sponsor dollars driving content.
