I just want ond final answer to this question so that I can go get an exhaust. Weight and price are not conciderations. I am looking for the most F1 sound, without beeing tin like or raspy- screaming!!

I've heard the Mugen, HKS, Neuspeed and Amuse.
The single exit AMUSE definatley sounds most like a F1 car. Beware, it is very loud !! The AMUSE also provides the greatest power increase and greatest weight savings. Not to mention it is also one of the (if not the) most expensive.
I think Giampiero can get it for you if you are interested.

When i saw the title "Beating a Dead horse", i thought " o great!!! Another thread about that guy (what was his name?) wearing womens clothing (i forget the exact artice...but it shows off the legs).

I've heard all of them , for my taste the Mugen is the sweetest, but not cheap, second would the HKS. I have also driven behind Randy with his Amuse lookout its loud and sounds like a race car...if thats what your looking for get the Amuse. I'm pretty sure Randy sold his b/c it was too loud.

BTW if you want info on the Borla, look at the Neuspeed, they are one and the same (tips may differ) because Borla makes Neuspeeds product,

what type of sound does the Mugen make (low,mellow or screaming?) I do not want it too loud, and I want dual exit, but I want a good sound (not riced out)

 

I heard the Mugen exhaust only with the Mugen headers not sure if thats the way you are going but it makes a deeper growl not much louder than stock but to the descriminating ear there is a definite difference. IMO it makes the car sound more like a 6 cyl. if that makes any sense. Also its a beautiful piece of machine work.
