true,
say you bought a carbon fiber hood- you were told it was a mugen hood and paid mugen hood prices but turned out to be seibon?(nothing against seibon just using as an example)
wouldnt you be mad?

I think the whole "story" is moot. I have been buying from Ben for a very long time and as much help as he has given me its hard to believe he would do this. Its easy for people to believe what J's is saying because of their size and reputation, but none of us will really ever know what happened. Unless Ben does wrong by me I will continue to do business with him.
I don't see a reason for J's racing to lie about it....to also drop AJR's distributorship's right. This doesn't make sense. What reason would J's want to break off a 7 year relationship and claim that AJR is copying their products and marketing it as J's racing?
Isn't AJR also the creater of T1R products which also make replicas of other products as well? Maybe same premise where they're developing products and marketing them as a different name? I've never personally dealt with AJR, but saw that they were a very reputable vendor. If they were so reputable and wanted to lay out the truth about this accusation, we wouldn't be seeing this spread across different threads without resistance from them. Just a thought.

nothing against, ajr
but I heard that J's racing actually DON'T make over fenders!
Thus, the quality and fitment issue! I've always wondered why I have never seen a j's racing s2000 with over fenders and went th their website to claify, and indeed, they do not offer J's racing over fenders.
I may be wrong, though.
