I've noticed this as well. They're also attracted to the 505 soft top cleaner.

I was helping a friend move his bike into the bed of his truck and we discovered a nest of hornets under the tail seat - I had the same thing later on. Talk about "fun"...

Yesterday, on my way home, I had a hornet nearly hit my right in the face. 45 mph + hornet to the face didn't sound too great, so I ducked/leaned to avoid it. Maybe I should wear a closed face helmet...
