so im 18 just bought my first s2000 with the money I’d saved up since 15. My dream car I finally had it, I made plenty of mistakes already as far as the dealership and small bumps along the road, I’m learning from them though. A month ago the rain was pouring and my car hydroplaned onto a curb, keep in mind my car was in coil overs and was 4 inches off the ground, insurance claimed car total loss and I believe the rear frame is bent, what am I expecting as far as repairs go?
Frame broken, total loss statement. Your options are few. Next their going to try and give you money for it and likely they will undervalue your payout. It's time to gather all receipts and proof of everything you can. I can almost guarantee it will be in your best interest to dispute the amount.

The insurance paid everything off and the car is now mine I just need to know about how much is the frame to be repaired and where’s the best place to have this done
Any pics of the damage? Do you KNOW the frame was bent or do you *think* from looking at it?
If its not looking too bad, I would hesitate on considering the car completely gone. As these cars are getting older and parts are getting relatively harder to find (as well, parts for the S2K were always on the more expensive side) insurance companies are more likely to write these cars off as total losses, despite the damage being relatively minor or fixable. Cheaper for the insurance company, not necessarily trying to preserve the car or get you back into something you love.
If the frame itself is not totally bent up, and if you are truly in love with the car, it may be worth it to buy the car back from the insurance company and fix it up yourself. Even, if the frame is a bit dinged up, a good body shop should be able to pull it straight. Unfortunately, you will have to have the car get re-certified as a streetable car and have a "salvage" title.
I would consider getting the vehicle inspected by a body shop first. Or hell, depending on how cheaply they are willing to sell it back to you, you may just want to buy it for spare parts for a future S2000.

Call around to body shops and see who has a frame alignment tool and get a quote. Prices vary depending on location so best place to get a quote is from a local shop.
Def post pics but It's often in your best interest to negotiate an amount that will get you back
in another s2000 with a clean title unless this one is special. That salvage title diminishing value is double whammy considering you'll pay out the ass unless it's anything other than minor.
Even if you worked something out these things are often hardly final if you don't drag your feed Off the go.
Keep in mind that this car is notoriously fickle from seemingly minor things like disparate tire pressures, alignment, and especially frame issues. If the frame has been bent, you can be virtually certain the car will never drive like it was out of the factory.

I have heard so many people make that statement that I'm not certain if it's true or just something people say.
That being said ive walked on a few because of just this.
