sorry to hi-jack your thread, BUT which option would gain more HP?

Stock Exhaust w/ TP
or
Aftermarket Exhaust w/ Stock Cat?

The reason I'm asking is I currently have a Spugen Dual w/ Berk TP and its too loud for me, so I was thinking about going back to Stock Exhaust, BUT keep the TP. Not sure if thats the best route or should I just leave the Spugen Dual alone and put the stock cat back on?

About the same;a catback (dual) will gain you +2-3 H.P.,and so will a T.P.Your choice.

so HP is about the same, how about noise level? I'm assuming stock with TP would be a lot quiter than SPugen Dual w/ Stock Cat?

Yup I would imagine so. Stock with TP isn't much louder. Slightly raspy and slightly deeper note, but not really any louder.

Power gain,with a T.P.on a hardly stock engine,will be minimal.
Fine could be quite substential,up to $2500.00.
power gain on a stock engine with TP and exhaust would actually be quite good. test pipe is a great bang for buck mod.

yeah I'm not sure where people are getting 2-3 HP with a TP. Its probably more like 5-10HP and for only 100 bucks its well worth it
