Default Besides oil change what?

bringing my '06 in for an oil/filter change this week

Oil only has about 5000 miles on it but after 4 years, it's time.

Anything else I should have the dealer check at 36000 miles?

Thanks for inputs

Not necessarily dealer work, but the clutch fluid. You can easily do it yourself. Just use a turkey baster to suck all the fluid out, wipe clean with paper towel, and add new brake fluid. Should take 5 minutes of your time.

Download the 2005 Owners Manual. It has the complete maintenance schedule in it unlike the 2006 and later which has the Maintenance Minder built into the dash electronics.

There's a myriad of fluids that should be changed on a time rather than mileage basis including all the hydraulics and coolant. Oil change is on a 12 month basis as well as I recall. If it was my car I'd refresh all the fluids including the gearbox and differential (which required hypoid gear oil). Get a tank of good fuel in there as well.

There's a recall on the 2006 brake booster as well.

The 2006 cars need a valve clearance check/adjustment. Burned valves will occur if you don't. Billman posted a WARNING about this a couple of years ago as every DBW car he'd examined had overly tight valves/

What Chuck said. Especially the valve adjustment. Definitely do a valve adjustment unless you did one recently.

^^ This.
Stressing you do not want to wait 4 years to change the oil on any vehicle. I personally do every 5k or 12 months - whichever comes first - even with full synthetic.
I will be doing all other fluids on a 2 year cycle with this car. Next week I'm doing Diff, Trans, Coolant, Oil.
It seems you are not a do it yourself kind of guy so you may want to have them look at your tires too. If oil has not been done in 4 years I'm guessing tires may be really old?
I also like to run a tank full of fuel system cleaner once a year (add it to your fuel tank before filling up). My fav is BG 44k -

Lastly I'm willing to bet your pollen filter is saturated in filth (filters air coming into the car for heater AC). Have them replace this if you don't want to deal with it yourself. It is very easy to replace yourself though.
