If your current fluid is amber...get the ATE Blue. Of course that is if you are getting ATE...again like others said there are better fluids, but for the cost, ATE is

This is the first time I've heard somebody not recommend DOT 5 brake fluid, and on top of that state that it is bad for ABS. Most autocrossers I know use DOT 5 brake fluid, love it and haven't had any problems.
please do your research and see if i am right.
dot rating is only a classify system for brake fluid that carries a boiling point of a certain level, in other word, use the one that design for the car, and higher the number isn't always better

seriously, if you have no idea what you talking about please don't spread the wrong info, putting dot 5 into abs brake s2k will kill your braking system,

Dot 5 was supposed to be the next big thing but, it didn't turn out. It has a couple issues.
1) It's slightly compressible which gives a spungy feel
2) It'll froth with pressure pulses (which is how ABS works) so, in an ABS equipped car, you'll lose your pedal just like a leak.
Nobody uses it. Dot 5.1 is a different animal and is compatible with ABS cars.

I don't know anybody who uses it either. Dot 5 will mess up your brakes unless you do a complete flush AND disable or remove ABS.
If you don't track you car, use what the manual recommends. Some car manufacturers ONLY want DOT3 because it doesn't absorb moisture as much as the higher end fluids.
