Cheap, durable, fast drying and it looks like new OEM.

is also great for protecting metal if you want a nice look. It is very expensive, though.

Yes - if you have the time and means and don't mind bleeding the system again. You will get best results removing them and painting off car. Or better yet, get them powder-coated.
