Default Painting Brake Calipers

Thinking of going to Halfords and getting a £10 tin of red paint and painting my callipers. Has anyone else done it, and were they pleased with the look, or did they think it looked sh*te?

Chav!

You just draw attention to how small they are. I wouldn't bother. If you must paint, black or silver are your best bet

Okay Okay, you win. I don't want to spend hours doing something I'll regret afterwards. I did that 20 years ago when I said 'I do'

I painted mine black to start with and I was very happy with them. This year I've done them red and as soon as I've got some spare time I'll be changing them again. I'm not a fan of the red having seen them now. Either back to black or maybe silver.

I've got some white caliper paint, yet to try it though - a job for this weekend methinks! Gotta look better than crusty flaky grey, lol

How would you paint the calipers? Would you take them completely off the car & what-not? Or is there a quick and dirty way?

Remove the wheels, give calipers a good clean, paint calipers. No need to remove them and go crazy, just make sure you dont let any paint get on the brake pad surface or disk
