I just picked up the new R&T to read see how they ranked the S2K. . . Turns out, they didn't even include it in their article

They broke the review into $ categories. . . But, the S2K wasn't mentioned in any of the comparisons. . .

In typical R&T fashion, the article was more of an intro to the article about the new Ferrari 360 Spyder, but still. . . The S2000 should have at least been included in one of the comparisons. . .

I don't know why they didn't test the S2000. Maybe it didn't cost enough. They did test Audi TT, Boxter S, and Corvette.

It didn't cost enough for the under $25K category, but it should have been included in the under $50K class. . .

Either way, I know (and most other drivers know) that the S2K is excellent for fun in the sun driving. . .

Surely you don't expect anything objective out of the editors of Road and Track? They're all for sale.

Below is the email address for Road and Track. I encourage you guys to write an email and tell them they missed the boat on not reviewing the Stook. Perhaps one of your responses will be posted in the letters to editor

I think you guys have it wrong.

It was best under 25K, best under 50K, best under 75? 100?

Whatever,

FLAME SUIT ON

No offense, but I think that, bang for the buck, the Vette convertible is the "best" for under 50K. I think the M3 convertible is better but I think it might cost a little more, right?

Can't really argue against a C5... but to not at least include the S is a little odd.

no, even car & Driver said when they picked the boxster and S2000 over a corvette "We prefer more rounded sports cars like the S2000 and boxster"
