im looking to buy a s2000 and i heard in chicago they sell for under msrp is this true?? if so what dealer do you reccomend thanks and what price did you pay out the door for your s2000

I bought mine in Chicago last weekend at Jacobs Twin. I flew there on AirTran for $100 and drove back to ATL. Here's the link to the thread I posted. Good luck.

if i get the car what is the best way of going about shipping it i live in california and the average price is 37k for a new s2000. if anyone can hook me up with a good transporter i would be grateful (and any idea on cost for shipping) i live in southern california

with a little patience and some groundpounding you can find a new S in CA for far less than $37K. I got both my '01 and '02 for MSRP (actually a little under).

Check out the post titled tips for buy a new S for more. I'm too lazy to re-type all of that.

but if i can get a s2000 for 30k in chicago then im all over it. im selling my current car for 35-37k and want to break even after tax and everything and have a hard top, new wheels and new suspension all for like 36-37k is this possible??

I check my local dealer's internet site occasionally and just noticed they are having a clearance sale on s2k sale price is 30178.00 there site is www.vermonthonda.com then go to internet specials and hit s2000.
