Default MTV Flipped on Street Racing

I know a lot of people here don't like street racing. Wednesday night at 10:30 eastern time they are gonna have a show on street racing. Incase you guys don't know what the show is about, here is a quick explanation. A person with a bad habbit of some sort is set up by friends and family and MTV ofcourse to think they are being chosen for something they are really not and their bad habbit becomes the point of the show and eventually the person gets so scared by others that they realize whats going on and discontinue their bad habbits. Should be interesting. Happy viewing

This show will be like all of MTV's other programs, cheesy and made up. More then likely, the "street racers" that will be featured on the show will be ricers who show their enthusiasm for "racing" with altezzas, super spoilers and "powered by honda" stickers . Just like the ignorant, wannabe asswipes that were on the Rikki Lake show, talking about how the fast and the furious changed their lives, this show will showcase the little kids of america that are following the new cool trend. God forbid for MTV to actually take some time and money to interview people who have been in the "scene" for a while, all i'm expecting from this show is complete and utter crap. I'm sure that i will not be disappointed.

Man, u didn't even see the show yet, neither did anyone. Why so negative? Try to be more positive about things. I hope it does not suck and contain ricers, but geez, give it a chance.

That's what you have to expect from MTV though.....hell, take a look at their Spring Break/Summer Beach House broadcasts.

That formula hasn't changed since MTV started in the 1980's. Has pop culture stayed the same? No.

What they have done, is turn a music channel "project" into a business that caters to capitalistic suits that think they know what entertainment is and how to give it to their audience...in the mean time commercializing everything they touch...all subject matter included.

Because MTV has been a joke for the longest time and will continue to be a joke. Damn network is corrupting today's youth and they don't care because it's all about the money.

i don't care about MTV quality (i watch more speedvision anyway, even though they show so much more nascar now, nothing but a bunch of rednecks turning left i tell ya), but would anyone else agree that the blonde chick on sorority life is a hottie!?
