Default Best Exhaust

What is the best exhaust system i could buy? i know that a lot of people have purchased the HKS Hyper, why? I kind of want to go with a dual, just because i think it would look awkward to have a huge gap on one side of the car. what gives the most power? also, what's the best header? looking for a good new mod that's worth the $ ...

I'm not sure that $ per hp-wise, any header/exhaust is worth the $ on the S2000. You'd have to be doing it to be different, or like the sound or the looks or just to have the mod.

No exhaust is worth any gain at all. It's a cosmetic and auditory upgrade only. You may actually lose HP by changing the exhaust. Change the exhaust if you want to change the sound only, there is no point otherwise.

I don't think there is a best, rather what you want ... Form over function or function over form. There are alot of discussions on what is good, what is preferred and what should be stayed away from. Nevertheless, I think it's good to lookback on the archives to determine what you wish to get.

I agree completely. There is no best exhaust, only which exhaust best serves personal preferences.

People buy the HKS because it's good sounding.

The other consideration with exhausts is weight savings.

Just make sure you don't upset the delicate weight balance
