Hey guys, well I have decided to swap out the OEM parts with a little more serious set up. I'm interested which CAI, Header, Exhaust combo with not only add the most power but also drop the most weight. I haven't really decided firmly on anything yet, but I was thinking 4IG CAI, I'm not sure on the header, I like Toda a lot (from Wantone's writeup), but they seem very hard to get ahold of and quite expensive, so what are my other options? Mugen, Spoon, I don't know them all. As for as exhaust, for performance I want to go with a titanium single, I was thinking Spugen, Amuse or J's N1, any other suggestions of what you guys are running, or the best setup would be is appreciated. Price is a factor, but I would be willing to compromise spending more if the quality/performance made a noticeable difference.
-Steve.

I really like the amuse exhaust systems. If I was in your shoes I would look at either the Amuse R1 dual, Amuse R1 Single and the Amuse R1000. But I don't want a lot of noise and would like to keep the dual setup so I would probably try the Amuse R1 Dual. If I wasn't into the Amuse stuff I would probably look into the Top Secret or Cwest exhaust systems. I believe both are full Ti. When it comes to a header, after seeing the quality and performance of the Toda Header it's been hard to look at any other header with the same respect. I hear the Amuse header is nice as well. If I couldn't get any of them I would probably get the spoon header. I'm not too sure on the intakes because I have never really looked at them to much because I want to go with a SC. If I had to get an intake I would get the Spoon Kevlar ram air scoop thingy. Good luck with what ever you decide on.

You want power id probably go something like:
CAI->Header->Exhaust

AEM/Injen->Toda->J's Racing Side Exit/Amuse R1000

there is no best combination for the i/h/e setup, since different setups were used for different purposes

Mugen CAI, amuse header, test pipe and amuse R1000 seems to work fine.

I don't understand why fujitsubo is not an option. i think the fujitsubo exhaust and header are quite good. I'm using the exhaust now, and plan to get the header soon. THey sound great and compliment each other.. and for the CAI- using the spoon filter and duct

exhaust: amuse r1 single/dual, r1000 if you don't care about emissions and extreme loudness

intake: get a supercharger, it comes with one

header: definatley toda header, offers a lot of gains especially on a supercharged s2k

thanks for all the suggestions guys, but I guess is there one specific combition that yeilds the MOST power and weighs the LEAST. Pretty much look like everyone favors Amuse for exhaust, I remember Mugen intake being pretty expensive, anyone know the price on this? As far as header, I still have to idea.
