Default Best Exhaust, performance wise

Okay, can you guys tell me what the best cat back system will be for s2000? All I care about is performence, so which exhaust is lightest, and is proven to give the most gains in hp and tq. My price range is around $1500 but I would like to keep it around $1000 and less.

And what kind of test pipes do you guys recommend? Also, if it is possible could you guys post any pics or soundclips with the exhausts you recommend if you have them.

Thanks a lot, and I hope I put this in the right section.

WOW forget this whole post, it's really late and I'm easily confused when tired, lol.

Anyone know how much lighter then stock the T1R system will be? How about how much lighter the T1R titanium system is then the regular T1R?

Also, how do I order from this site? It says the price but doesn't give me an option to order it. Do I have to call them? Anyone know a good site to order the part from, or a good shop in or near Northern Virginia to purchase it from?

Thanks a lot for this info guys

hello

i don't know the exact weight thingies but here's a crapshot

stock oem exhaust is around 40-50-60 pounds?!

i BELIEVE, full titanium ones are around 10-15 (or less) pounds!?

don't quote me!

i know the amuse r1, r1000 full titanium exhausts are around thur and are honestly as good as exhausts get although they cost upwards of 2000$+
veilside teardrop i hear is one of the lightest around, 10 pounds or less and also the LOUDEST
t1r 70mm is also a solid choice

here's a groupbuy link for the amust exhaust currently going on buy a board sponsor

There is a thread in the JDM forum with all the info you need on the new titanium T1R 70RT exhaust. Be warned that it is loud as crap and will most likely damage your hearing if you drive the car without a helmet -- it's a race exhaust like J's 70mm. Their original 70mm is quieter and I've heard that it has slightly better torque figures, although less top-end hp, than the new RT.

Or you could just go the custom route and get exactly what you want...

Okay, so what is a good exhaust that won't get me pulled over left and right. I have no problem with a loud exhaust, but cops in north va do.
