Default Best Exhaust For The S

I'm thinking of getting a Cat-back exhaust soon for my 05 what's the best choice I would rather get a system that will last for along time not a cheap non-branded piece thanks

first question is and always should be included is your budget?

Exhausts for the s2000 range from 300-3000

I guess i'd be willing to spend 500 to 1000... would a single exhaust pick up more h.p gains

this topic has been beaten to death.... the search is your friend.

yes singles will net you more power but may not look so pleasing on the ap2 bumper imo. thats up to you though since its your car.

look into t1r 70r for your price range if you want a single

I searched for many hours on this.....and after everything i chose Invidia V3 w/TP.

Honestly i think its kinda a compromise unless you go for the high end stuff. I didnt.
I want it to sound good, look good, give me performance gains. I think it does sound good (a little loud but i knew that coming into it), i think it looks REALLY good....and it does give me gains but not probably as much as i could have gotten with a single. And it saved me weight....but all will do that, but again going with a single coulda saved me more.

I asked myself is the 2-3hp (just guessing) going to make a difference between a single/dual? Also the 10 lbs? (could be more with Amuse, etc). If this was my track car yes it would matter, everything matters. But this is my DD for now.
I got a good deal on the V3 and heard good reviews, and I guess its one of the best duals for gains? I feel a little top end but....that could just be my ears bleeding? Honestly i think the TP did the most. I put that on with my stock exhaust about a week before the invidia and could tell!
Good luck.....BTW T1R 70R would have been my next choice. And who knows if i get a DD and turn this into a track car/weekend car......this exhaust may come off

Good choice although I'm convinced now that all after market exhaust systems work very well .( Re S2KI forums)
Too much unwarranted hype for the V3 concerning noise.
I think you'll find this system very mellow and purr-fectly quiet at sustained speeds.
Got a test pipe with the system (Berk) but have yet to install it.
SS, easy direct bolt-on and the price is right. How much better can it get?
