young guy with new s2k? . . . i would say skip the car insurance and just get more life insurance!

I kid, I kid...

Just pick which commercial you like best, Mayhem? Flo? Black guy with soothing voice? Annoying Pig/Gecko? The choice is yours!

I have Allstate, low deductible, covers every single part OEM or aftermarket, and I can choose where I want the work done. Or I can do it myself and they will cut me a check for the parts.
I pay a pretty high yearly cost though, but I like the quality of service I get every time. I was looking to switch though just to start saving $100 a month. We'll see!

Aside from the aftermarket parts, you realize this is how they all function. No company can tell you where to get your car fixed and they all love cutting checks instead of paying for repairs. Typically first quote is less than what they find.

I've dealt with a few insurance companies for both S2000's I've owned, and Safeco was the most helpful and most affordable of them all (Geico, Statefarm, Allstate, Safeco, etc)

I've got an agreed value policy with Leland West. It's quite affordable compared to typical ins companies, but it does require that the S2k is garaged and that you have another car that is your daily driver.

Their site lists the eligibility requirements. If you're not eligible yourself you can only be eligible if you have a parent or spouse who is a member.

I'm 18 and just got my first 02' S2000 a couple of months ago.

I'm insured through Geico and Pay $152/month. Completely clean record. It's spendy, but it's worth it every time I hop in the driver seat. Nothing like an S2000!
