Default Best mod?

This may have been already covered, but what is the best modification that will 1) not void warranty, 2) enhance performance and 3) not decrease mpg? Not that I am unappy with my MY 05, but just thought I would see what's out there. Thank you.

S2Ki membership. But that WILL most likely end up voiding your warranty.

It all depends on what you are doing, or plan to do, with the car. If you are autocrossing, the Evolution schools are probably the biggest bang for the buck. If you're tracking the car, either HPDE's, or a good driving school is a good first step. If you are showing the car, drag racing the car, or doing anything else with the car, your best course of action would be different.

Soooo, maybe the first step is to drive the car long enough to know what you want to change and/or improve. What I've found is that as I mod the car, my goals change. Never had that problem with other cars, but the darn S2000 just does so many things, so well, that I keep deciding NOT to change a lot of the things I originally thought I would.

A nice, inexpensive, first mod is an unmuffled intake. As much as I like my SC/AC I really miss the sweet sound of my old AEM CAI (V1). The S2000 sounds AWSOME when you can hear the induction noise clearly.

#3 = Subway diet? haha

Ya, AutoX a bit then HPDE for sure. The car could only go as fast as the driver could.

Also, everyone wants different things. Some find that improvements in handling is top priority, while others find improvements in acceleration more important. You'll discover what you want to improve first when you push your balls to the walls on the track ...

Of course, we all want our cars to stick to the ground and handle like no other, while able to pull through the 400metre mark in 11 seconds, and yet, still be able to drive the car to work on a cold rainy day without problems ... but hey, not all of us have $1 million bucks to spend on a car!

Voodoo shift knob from Rick's!

Just got mine on Friday after 3 days of sleepless nights. For me, it improved the shifting beyond all recognition. It felt like I suddenly got better at shifting

Best bang for the buck at $45 shipped.
