Default Best Mod Bang for the Buck

Got about $5K for some Mods. Question is: Spend on Increase HP; or Better handling/suspension; or Appearnce only mods. Or just take it to my local Ricer garage and tell them "Pimp my Ride".

$5k ain't gonna pimp no ride.

change the final gear for some added acceleration, suspension (GC + Koni), wheels. got the most out of your money IMO.

acceleration + lowered + wheels... seems to touch a little in all categories.

Already dot the fuzzy dice and complete white fur dash board. Thinking about the full length chrome curb fealers.

Of course, I should mention, once you do that, you'll want gears, bigger wheels, etc.... (not that that's necessarily a bad thing. )

1) 4.57 gears for acceleration ($590)
2) Intake (pick a brand) base: $150ish (used)
3) High flow exhaust (comptech is $1000ish)
4) EMS (AEM is good....so I have heard) ($1100ish)
5) High flow header (Rick's or Mugen) base : $725
6) lighter flywheel (comptech) base : ($369)

if you install all these youself (excluding tuning for EMS) you should be right around $4k. The remaining $1000 can be spent on a good EMS map and tune, and if you have any left over....save for a re-inforced differential ($500ish).

These are the mods I would do....opinions will differ. For $5k you could probable get a SC kit, but I do not like FI...just a preference.

You could spend it on the above and net 10hp or spend it on the Comptech SC and get 100hp. Your choice!
