with out FI, even with the most extensive bolt ons and aem ems, you may squeeze 30-40 hp out, and spend more money than the SC...... use common sence

Stainless steel brake lines. Cheap too. I noticed a difference and love the feel of it.

Spend it on gears and reinforced diff. $2000+ INSTALLED. Everybody says, oh, gears cost $590, they forget how much they cost to install. Check stratocasters post in the Groupbuy forum. I also wouldn't trust anyone except Hardtopguy or Billman250 to install my gears.

After gears, get a set of lightweight wheels w/ wider tires. By then all your money will be spent. Gotta love having an expensive car to mod.
Hold up...........not to cause an argument but I'm leaving Sunday for Ohio to go to Cedar Point and I'm dropping my car off with Jeff HTG.........I'm getting 4.57gears, with Competch Diff, yellow box, he is also installing an 03 ECU(already purchased), and a Comptech Header (already purchased) for under $2,000

You can get the Gears, Diff, Yellow Box for around 1650 give or take 100

if your into looks -- first steps would be to buy some nice wheels (Ray's ) and buy a nice coilover set for a nice drop and add a front lip (OEM=clean).

If it was me, I would go with a charger set up: vortech with aem ems, bigger injectors, t1r 70mm exhaust, hight performance clutch...but >5k

I think that the you shuld go for:
AEM CAI
Mugen header
BuddyClub Spec3 exhust
OEM front lip
Carbotech brakepads (front)
H&R coilovers
Hondata intake gasket

I like the Honda N/A so i dont go for any supercharger...

I've never understood the "Don't like Fi" thing. Is there reasoning behind it or is it just an idealogical thing?

I don't like or dislike FI. But I do like power and I know the only way to get gobs of it with an S2000 is FI.

If install or tuning is the concern the Comptech is great because you can do it yourself (at least I did) and it is safe to run as is out of the box. It only boosts at full throttle (that's the only time you want boost) and when it's in boost it runs nice and rich for safety's sake.
I do not like FI, personally. I just believe that this engine is under a HUGE amount of stress at 9,000 RPM, and I dont think the extra FI will promote longevity of the engine. The only way I would do it is if I could afford to yank the engine and get it sleaved. I know it has a forged lower end, but I cant even imagine the stresses of 9k (I read on here that the engine has TWICE the stress at 9k as it has at 8k).

I would have no problem doing it on a lower compression / lower revving engine, but this one is just too high for my tastes.

He'll be making more HP at 7,500 RPMs with the supercharger than at 9K with all the mods you suggested. He wouldn't need to rev to 9K if he was worried about the forged internals not holding up...
