Don't waste your money on this unless you plan to race the car, BBK kits will actually perform worse then stock brakes in regular street driving. They are made to perform at high temperatures and you won't reach those driving to and from school.

 

Weight reduction is absolutely not pointless on a street car. If you think that, then you might as well leave it stock because then any mods are pointless on a street car if you aren't racing it. Take out your spare tire and replace it with a pump/patch kit. Since you have a hard top, take out your soft top. I guarantee you will feel the difference. Taking out 85 (60 for the top and 25 for the spare) pounds in a 2800 pound car is equal to about 7.5138 horsepower. Better than any intake for this car. Plus better handling, braking, and gas mileage.

Soft top + spare tire have already been taken out. I'm not totally against weight reduction but I'm not going to sacrifice other amenities like a good sounds system just to lose some weight.
