Like others have heard alot of interesting ones. Last week was in starbucks in line when I looked outside and saw two teenagers walking all the way around it. Looking at the brake calipers, the exhaust tips etc.
They were still there when I walked out. With all the time they spent looking at / walking around it, I expected some in depth questions about hp, torque, mods etc.
I unlocked it as I was walking up, and as I opened the door I nodded...
The only thing they asked was: "Push Button Start right?"
Yep, that's why I bought it
.
Get alot of thumbs up from other drivers and especially Honda motorcycle riders. People are always surprised it's a Honda. My wife gets lots of comments when she drives, but she could drive a Pinto and still get looks.
I was looking around for a parking space in Westwood village one night, driving at about 20 mph, and a girl yells "Hey, stop!" I look over and she says "I have a parking spot". "Okay, cool" I say. She replies with "I also just wanted to look at your car"
I went into a marina to buy some cleaner for the rear window. After I told women at the counter it was my red s2000 outside she said i hope you dont mind the lip prints i put on your car !!
i roll out from the dealership in my fresh new S2000... first thing that puts a big smile on my face is seeing a kid in his parents car pointing to the lettering on the side of my car... i could see her mouthing out 'S2000' to her parents... dad slows down so she can see it
great feeling to know that even complete strangers/non-enthusiast still stop to say nice car.. part of my decision not to get the WRX was it's looks... hard to live with and hard to get people to like.. the S is not a problem..
i have a bad addiction now.. i cant stop thinking bout my own car!

We have a sports car club that we had just started and it mostly consists of Porsches. There are 2- 996 Carrera 4 Cabs, 993 C4S, and numerous Porsches, a Ferrari, and other sports cars. We usually meet up at a spot in the morning and chat about cars, then we are off to blast throught the twisty mountain roads.
The first time we had met, we all got together and the Porsche owners walked around my car and another s2000 that was there. "WOW!!, this car is beautiful!!! Beautiful front end!!!, Amazing!!!" were the compliments that I had. After a nice aggressive drive through the twisties and stopped, the Porsche owners came up to me and says " Unbelievable!!! this car is fast!!!" "I couldn't lose you at all no matter how hard I pushed the Porsche!!!"
Most of these drivers had some sort of Driving experience, and were amazed how quick this "Honda" was.
One of the newest members used to race Porsches in NJ and now owns a Silverstone s2000. He says that the s2000 is one of the funnest cars he had ever driven.
To this day, I still get lot's of looks and the usual compliments. But the funniest compliment that I had was this night that I met up with a friend that I haven't seen for a while at the local street races. I never go to street races anymore but I haven't seen my friend for quite some time now. As I passed by, I could hear people saying "Whoa, it's an s2000." and all of a sudden, I heard a girl yell out "I LOVE YOU!!!!"
She was a cutie too.
Lucky I didn't have my girl with me.
