I had someone come up to me and tell me that I needed to have "SNAKEBITE" written across the windshield because the car looked so much like a snake from the front. To be honest, it does have that look, but I now have nightmares about finding lettering on the windshield.

I had a better experience with another car. In 1993, I bought the first newly redesigned Firebird Formula (arrest-me red) in my area. The day I picked it up, I drove to my girlfriend's college. I stopped at a light on campus in front of a frat house. What must have been every person inside emptied out onto the sidewalk, gawking at / listening to the car. That was cool.

 

All Honda emblems are removed. It happens often. "What kind of car is that?"

 

A lady where a work picked up a Suzuka Blue '02 recently.

Her friends here all complimented her on the really nice car, but their advice was:
"Don't drive it crazy like the guy with the red one !"

Coupla a skateboard guyz in Ocean Beach, CA spotted my Sebring in the lot of the Jack-In-The-Box.

One said: "Man, check out that cool Viper!"

The other didn't correct him, but said: "Yeah, I love those Vipers."

Oh well...when they came in for their Jumbo Jacks, I didn't correct them.

I do think our "S" looks better than the afore-mentioned Dodge Viper.

I just got my S this past Saturday and was driving in Houston. Stopped at red light, a large Ford pulled up beside me and I noticed the guy in the passenger side eyein the ride (was on the left of the truck if you couldn't figgur that out...man). I'm still gettin used to all the looks the car gets, so i just thought to myself, heheh, "like what you see?"

then, i hear a honk from the same truck. I look over, a girl leans forward and waves, I smirk as the light turns green and let them look a lil more before I take off (not too fast of course, i'm still a novice with a stick, but they didn't know that, hahaha)

 

whoops, haha, i was on the RIGHT of the truck, don't i look dumb now, hahahaha
