nvmys2k,

I spoke with my dealer pertaining to Comptech's S/C and they said that they would install and fully warranty the system. Since you live in the Bay Area, why don't you check with some of the local dealers, some of them do mods and will fully take responsibility if anything happens. For those who live on the MD/VA/DC, Herson's Honda on Rockville Pike will do mods under warranty, even the S/C. Something to think about.

Thanks a lot fellas, that is exactly what I was looking for. I don't know where I got the idea that the TB made the idle eratic, past experience maybe. What I really need on the exhaust side are the weights. If they are all pretty much the same except for sound, then why not buy the lighter one? Within reason of course, doesn't someone have a titanium exhaust for the stook? At like a zillion dollars or something? Anyway, thanks again.

What MOD's are out there that don't compromise your warranty????? Do they exist? Or are the "Warranty Legal" MOD's too little to notice? Just a question...any takers?

Rick's wonderful console cover (I guess I'm just too conservative.).

That is a start Ivs2k! Anything that will boost performance and not hurt your warranty?

Pepe,

Did Extrude/Hone of Irwin PA do a good job on your intake manifold the first time or did they practically distroy it like mine (and then have to send it back)... Let me explain:

The air passages were increadible... polished, smooth, larger, and NO aluminum casting pieces hanging all over.

The only problem was that the main flat flange that mounts to the engine was covered with hundereds of pits + scratches... the only way to describe it would be "if the piece was cast iron and you left it outside for 10 years you would get corrosion that looked like this". I would supply pictures but I was so pissed when I got it I sent it back out within 30 minutes...

just backing up autoEX - I am getting a new S2000 from the dealer he refers to and having them install the comptech SC. They have said the SC will not void any warranties since they are installing it.

No matter what a dealer says. No matter who installs it. I have this directly from the individual in charge of product failure at AHM The supercharger absolutely voids your factory warranty. Period.
