I too am in the process of buying a '04. after emailing all my area dealers (Savannah, GA) $30,899(w/ destination) is my low number so far.

I'll also be getting a hartop($2,500) & front chin($395). I have a parts account & he said he'll honor my discounts, where the other dealers said that they(sales) had to pay the parts department more than I do.

so, it looks as though i might be getting my '04 for $33,794 with a hartop & front chin

yeah, i'm aware HTG's prices & i get a similar price on 00-03 chin's, but the 04's cost more. He doesn't really say if it's for a '04 or not though. If it is, then that's a great price for an '04 chin.
beauty of this for me is, it will be included in my financing. this way, i won't be out of pocket any additional cash right now, other than my initial upfront money. also, i don't know what he would charge for shipping on something of that size, to where as, the dealer is picking this up.

Criswell Honda in Germantown, MD is advertising a new '04 for $29,599 (plus taxes, tags, freight and $100 processing).

Being a dealer in NJ i can tell you that the S is still a hot car and most dealers are willing to hold on to them til spring. The allocations are not that many so they can hold out for better weather and get a better price. BUT $33,200 is definately high. Anyone interested in NJ just shoot me a PM.

My best deal here in Jacksonville was $33,000 including freight.....but my trade in was blue book valued at $10,000 and I made them give me $12,000 for it...so it all evens out in the wash. Net cost $31,000.

Is TTL "tax, title, and license"? The prices mentioned so far, none are including taxes? What about that Ganley/S2Ki special price, tax included or no?

I heard an offer locally for $32k "out the door" which I assume means including tax and destination and all that.

I'm in Florida on the coast and the winter is mild here. Highs are in the 70's and it's still convertible weather in Jan. It's hard to get a deal when there's girls in bikini's on the beach.

I a plan on getting an 'o4 s2k for 32140 plus TTL. It will have the factory alarm installed, and the car will be virginal. Much to the chagrin of my seller, it will have the transport spacers still in it and will have never sat on a showroom floor. I'm a stickler about this, I've heard too many stories where some jackass either gets in the car with a pen in his back pocket or worse prematurely overrevs the engine. I don't want to risk that on my 04 s2k.

Am I paying too much? I haven't been able to find in Florida for less. And if I use Ganely they will charge me $500 for the alarm and $800 to deliver it: Total: 32195.

Also S-Pods? Are they really that well made? I want to have rear speakers and so far they seem to be the best value.
