How far under the car are the side jack points? Does anyone have an actual pic of them; similar to the ones shown on the original post for this thread? I want to make sure I don't it up and I'm a complete retard I guess...
The main question that how far underneath the car should the jack be placed; I thought it was maybe 3-6", but now I'm not sure. I cannot find the stupid 'arrow' the manual mentions. Any help is appreciated!

Is the spot where the hydrolic jack is located the correct place to jack up the car from the front or I am way the off? I've located the frame rails and you guys are right they are too wide for a jack stand...

You should be jacking from the the reinforced area that is just to the rear of the scissors jack in the picture, NOT where the hydraulic jack is. That's an excellent picture in that it shows how close to the body sheet metal the front reinforced area is. I think that's what caused my problem, probably by me being a little careless with either the jack or the jack-stand. Be careful when using that front-most reinforced area.

So where the scissor jack it in the photo IS in fact the right place to jack up from the front; which is what I thought; I can put a jack stand there as well correct?

Looking at your picture more closely, you should put your jack just to the rear of where the scissors jack is. Just to the rear of where the scissors jack is you should see the jacking point. It's the ~1/2 inch wide, 3 to 4 inch long metal piece that extends perpendicular to the vertical edge that runs from the front wheel well to the rear wheel well. Theres a similar area just in front of the rear wheel well.
And yes this is where you should put your jack stand, if you can fit it there while your jack has the car in the air from the same point.
