I've got a TWM A1 Abrams that I've used for two years and love.
I recently got the Auger Resources knob with the moddiction 2.5" extension and i love the shifter placement.

 

 

'Best' is subjective depending on the driving situation and the driver.
My favorite knob for spirited driving/track is the Razo RA42 lighweight knob. 103 grams. Very light. It has the most direct feel of all the knobs I own(I own 4 different knobs).
My favorite knob for everyday driving is the Moddicition Anvil II. Heavy, countersunk and very comfortable to shift with.

 

I have Anvil ll's in white, Rick's Ti, Delrin, SOS NSX-R and others. I like to change them out to make things look different.

Another vote for the Moddiction Anvil! I've been very pleased with it after a bad experience with a Razo knob.

 

I like my OEM Titanium knob.
