Default Best Stock Air Filter?

I just changed my air filter and used a K&N and it seemed significantly diffrent from the stock, so what I wanted to know is what filter do you guys use on the stock box. I am not going to use a CAI for fear of hydrolock.

I had a JR when I was still using the stock box. There aren't a real lot of choices. K&N, JR and I think somebody makes a foam one that'll fit in there.

Spoon make a foam filter which fits the stock air box.

I am not starting a Foam v's K&N v's Paper debate though.

I've always been a fan of the K&N filters. The spoon is just rediculously expensive.

Anyone notice any change/improvement using the JR or K&N?

Swapeed my stock with K&N and noticed better throttle response. Maybe I'm just dreaming but it seemed better to me. (Wiggled the ass in second gear )

I purchased a "Sprint" filter from M P Tuning (site sponsor) and have been very satisfied. It supposedly adds 2 HP to the wheels and never needs oiling. It fit perfectly in our air box. One thing I have noticed since the install is that I get 5-10 more miles on a tank of gas before I need to fill up again. Their website is currently down but here is the link: http://www.mptuningusa.com
