Default Best Sunscreen/Sunblock

I've lived with the S2K now for over a month and I would appreciate suggestions on sunscreen/sunblock products. Up to now, their use has always been exclusively for beach, pool, sports or other outdoor activities. In those cases, of course, I usually shower immediately afterwards to wash the sweat and sunscreen off.

Now for my daily routine, I need to apply sunscreen before going to work, and all that greasy sunblock on my face really annoys me during the day. Also, who wants to smell like they just came from the pool or beach when meeting important customers? What do the rest of y'all do? Any specific product suggestions on stuff that can be easily applied in the morning, worn all day (without feeling greasy) and doesn't make you smell like a beachboy? Thanks in advance everyone!

great question...
the sunblock that i use doesnt smell, but it does sometimes get in my eyes later in the day and burns like crazy. very annoying if you are driving!
so i would add to the list of what we are looking for in a sunblock:
-does not irritate eyes

Bullfrog gel SPF 36 or 45. I've also had good luck with the Shade gels. In general I've found the gels to be better than the lotions. Someplace on the bottle will specify Gel or Lotion.

Both will burn if you get it in your eyes. Dries fast and are basically odorless. I think you would have to be hugging someone who has it on to smell what little scent is there. The best sunscreens have Parsol 1789 as an ingredient that not all sunscreens have.

My complexion is fair and I'm a redhead so I've been around the block a few times on sunsceen.

Recently my wife found a sunblock stick by Banana Boat. It's like a giant Chapstick. I've put this on before a soccer game and was quite pleased with it. It's quick and easy to put on, stays on better when you sweat and doesn't run into your eyes. I didn't pay very close attention to see if it puts a noticible shine on your face or anything, but it worked well and didn't feel greasy.

My wife has a moisturizing lotion with SPF 15, not sure who makes it. It leaves no residue, but gives you moderate sun protection. Something like that is probably your best bet for daily use.

Just curious--how many of you guys have jobs where you have to at least occasionally meet customers? Maybe I'll have to put the top up so my hair doesn't look stupid and I don't smell of sunscreen.

Coppertone Sport - I wear it surfing and playing beach volleyball and now in the S. I sweat like a pig and this stuff lasts and protects for along time. And when you sweat, it doesn't sting.

I have always hated sunblock....burning eyes...sweating killing the effectiveness, etc.

This year when I was at Mid Ohio for the motorcycle races, I tried Banana Boat sport 30+. This link has the exact one I have.

Best stuff I have ever used...no eye burning...barely any smell at all (as I remember it anyway....you are capable of smelling it before buying). In three days in the sun and heat it worked better than anything I have ever tried.
