I second the vote for Bullfrog gel SPF 36 or 45.

I use Coppertone Sport sunblock spray. It's SPF30, waterproof, and it's incredibly convenient to put on -- no smearing, sticky mess. It doesn't smell too bad, but it still smells like sunblock. I never noticed it stinging my eyes, either.

Another vote for Coppertone Sport.

It works great for me in wet or dry environments. I like it in SPF 8 strength to prevent sunburn but build up a bit of a tan at the same time.

Try the Neutrogena for sensitive skin. Similar bottle to the one posted above but it's only SPF 30 but it doesn't have that 'sunblock smell' at all.

Yeah, I've tried the Coppertone Sport at the beach and it isn't greasy. Forgot about it. Maybe I'll switch it for whatever it is I've got in the car now. Definitely like the idea of a stick since it's sounds easy to apply while driving. I'm usually so anxious to go that I forget to apply sunblock until I'm already rolling!
