Default Best top replacement.

After searching and reading numerous threads I still dont know what is the best top to replace my worn MY01 top with. I would prefer to get a top with a glass window, but the OEM does not seem to be a straight forward instal. While the idea of modifying does not really bother me I would prefer to exhaust all options first.

So I ask: What is the best top in terms of fitment, quality, bang/buck that has a glass rear window? Preferably one that I dont need to modify anything with.

I've seen the Robbins top (sold by CabrioWorld) in canvas...was very sharp. Will be going with this in the near future.

Forget the canvas. Too much upkeep. Stick with the vinyl. I don't think there is any top that will convert you to glass without some modification. Your plastic window folds in half. The glass won''t do that.

From what I have seen, I think you will have to modify anything that has glass back. I am most likely going to go with a Robbins top when I change mine.

There is a sponsor that sells them.

Just curious why it is a lot of upkeep? The Robbins tops are Scotch Guarded. Seem to repel stains well. Should just wash with plain water and occasionally RaggTopp Cleaner.

Hardtop FTW.

I've got a Cabrioworld Top (vinyl) w/ plastic window I bought for my 01 before I bought my hardtop... PM if you're interested, still new in the box.

For low hassle and durability factor i'd stick with OEM.

Scotch guard doesn't last that long if your car is constantly out in the elements. If you don't have a garage the top may need to be treated a few times a year.
