Default Best Use of the Secret Compartment

The Secret Compartment is the best "hidden" quirk of the S2000. What do you use your compartment for?

For me - my EZPass sits there and is recognized by the tool booth, whether the roof is up or down.

Dust rag, a beanie (mountain can get cold in the early AM and the heater doesn't keep my ears warm with the top down), 10hz GPS unit, OBD II unit (when not in use), and a spare tire gauge.

Sunglasses case. Cell phone charger. Water sometimes. It's more of a per trip kind of storage area vs a permanent housing unit.

Because it is so difficult to reach while driving, I don't keep much in there that I would regularly need at hand. Factory packet with owner's manual and service booklet, insurance cards, vehicle registration, and spare sunglasses.

The front section is perfectly sized for a zippered Oakley glasses case for my spare sunglasses.

The back section has my registration/insurance cards in an envelope at the back, and then a couple small bags of tools, a microfiber cloth, and an accutire gauge.

I find that it's the perfect size to store bananas for my trunk monkey.

I'm calling the SPCA. The S2000 does not provide an adequately-sized enclosure for the humane transportation of a trunk monkey.

Only if you want them to break down in the heat.
