Default Best way to sell my S?

My '01 has 61000 miles one it, and a brand new top that was ##^ to put on. I wanna sell it and get a 'vette.

Any of you here ever sell yours? What did you do, auto trader, newspaper, ebay, ect.?

What do you think I could get for it? I get the front bumper replaced, and it looks factory again. The only blemish on the car is the drivers seat is pretty worn and the rims are oxidized.

Theres a For Sale section on this website you can use for your car. Since your a guest you can only sell your own car. You could also post it on autotrader or ebay. Newspapers are a waste of time USUALLY. an 01 with 61000 you can get according to KBB..

17,255 in excellent condition
16.245 in Good condition
14,830 in Fair condition

I'd guess your car is either excellent or good because most people take care of there s2000s like they take care of there family. You can look at KBB I just posted which is for Private Party Listing and then you could make up a decent number yourself and work from there. I'm looking for an s2000, i'd jump all over this if I could but I'm trying to limit myself to 16k. Post it in the For Sale section with pictures and information and see what happens. Good Luck!

I was offered $17k for my 01 with about 60k on it early this spring in trade for a new STI. I passed. The offer was fair enough, I just couldn't bear to sell it. If you're not in a hurry I'd try to move it in a private party sale. When I bought my S2000 in January of 02 I was trading in a Porsche 944 Turbo. The dealer offered me #%@& for my trade so I sold it on Autotrader and got exactly double their offer and it only took 7 days for me to sell it.

Crazy difference between Canadian and US prices.

Used S2000's in Calgary, AB are around $30,000CAD ($26,700US) for a 2000-2002.
Price for new is $50,500CAD ($45,000US).

I am definitely going to by a US-model. Just crazy.

I use to think that selling an S on this site would be easy, but some friends of mine has their's for sale here and it's an awesome car at a fair price and it hasn't sold yet. Personally, I am stunned it hasn't sold.

2001-2002's with 50K miles on them are going for between $18 and 20K US here in Virgina. Some people are asking more but, they aren't selling.

New prices here in the states are what, 30-32k?

I can't imagine swapping an S2000 for a vette.
