the only bad thing i can think of is that you need to seriously baby this car if you want to keep it for a long time, this is no car to go around and dump at the clutch at every traffic light. this doesnt bother me in particular(i like to mess around with cars) BUT for someone who is used to driving a civic, accord(TL in your case), this car has many more responsibilities.

Is that Avatar a He-162?

Well, I don't own a S2000 yet, but the major weak point I have discovered after looking at some S2000s is the plastic rear window.

I guess the biggest good point is the way the car feels and handles.

The best the about the S is it's just so fun to drive

the worst thing is I just don't understand the reason for the A/C. Was it really necessary? I don' t think I spelled that right.

JT:
I wouldn't buy a car without A/C, and I live in Ohio. I can't imagine owning a car in the south without it. Just don't turn it on, and it'll be fine.

In San Bernadino I don't believe that 98 degrees ALONG with oppressive humidity is a major issue. Here in NYC, driving with the top down in those conditions is almost unbearable. To be honest, this car loses a lot of luster under those conditions - AC saps to much power.

After a year of ownership I've realized that the time for the S is Spring, Fall, and sub 40 - 85 degree low humidity days (at least here in NYC). It's really wasted otherwise - but I'm kinda lucky here, my other car is verrry competent .

Cons:

1. Poor rear tire wear.
2. Poor rear/side vision.
3. Lacks torque in mid-range.
4. Burns oil at an unaceptable rate to many.
5. Steering wheel not adjustable.
6. Not a forgiveable car for the inexperienced driver.
7. Clutch & drive train slightly on the light side.
8. Annoying racket from drive chain when starting.
9. Shifter somewhat sticky in certain gears.
10. The engine does not respond well to modifications.
