best and worst about your S2k
You'll have to notify two important diferences between this car and the rest of the cars in the world:
a) There are two different cars in one: One of them, when reving below 6000 RPM, in which range it seems to demand a gear change, too... it is like any 140 HP mid class car... a Golf GTI, a Civic, etc... a little more softly and more pleasured feeling... but no not expect any special torque going slow in hi gears... But, oh, man, if you keep pushing above 6K, it will transform itself in a real beast... changing sound, push... everything... and it goes up really really quick !! Its like revving in neutral sometimes...
b) You have to 'change your mind' to start enjoying plenty this car. I mean, you have to know how to get this 241 CV. There are not ready for you in the "easy part" of the rev meter, like the Boxster or any other car around... They are only in the top end of the rev meter, and you'll have to autoconvince yourself that the engine wont blow even if you stay for a lot of minutes in this hi-rpm range.
For example, in other cars, you don't have to go near the fuel-cut point to get the whole power of them. In this one, you *do* have to be near of that point, so is needed a accurate use of the gear change and real driving skill and so...
If not, you only will be enjoying arond 200 CV...
This is a great point for real drivers: It forces you to drive in a real sport way, in a car that is made to being driven this way, and wont break, like maybe other cars who are not made to drive in that 'near to the limit' way....
Edit: As my english is not very accurate, I fixed some mistakes :-)
