Default Bet you can't pick our S2000 locks.....

So being the intelligent guy I am, I managed to lock my keys in my trunk after locking the glove box. Because that included the key to my apartment, I had to call a locksmith to come and try to unlock my car.

Both to my delight and disappointment, he couldn't pick the lock and said that with these keys, it's near impossible. I watched him struggle for almost a half hour, and nothing came even close. So, at least now I know that you can't pick the locks (at least not easily) of my car.

The bad news was it took him 10 seconds flat to break into my apartment, where I got the backup key.

So I feel a lot more secure about the S2000 now, but I'll be damned if I do that again!

I have a pick set so i'll have to go try. You are right about the house though. I can pick my dead bolt in about 3 seconds. For those of you with ideas... I have two dogs, various weapons and plenty of ammo.

Not a very good locksmith. A blank Honda key will open the box.

Not the MY04 key it's laser cut I doubt you would have even a remote chance with traditional lock pics.

I think a good quality flat head screwdriver could take care of that with ease. You can also use it to slash the top.

Lasercut or not, still doesn't change the fact the the glovebox lock is not car specific and can be opened with a blank.

Test: Have one of your local buddies use their keys on your govebox sometime.
