which is better for drifting
Get one of these:
Toyota Corolla GT-S
Nissan 240SX
Nissan 350Z
Infiniti G35
Pontiac GTO
Dodge Viper
I asked my friend the exact same question, (Mike Peters) he drifts professionally in Formula D, and he told me the s2k isn't the best for drifting, engine power is picky, not much torque, and steering isn't good for drifting... I don't know what he meant by the last part, but he's the pro, so I trusted him... lol

Drifting with the S2000 is possible, its just not as practical as other choices. Some of those choices are even cheaper than this car!

Most cars don't though, including those on the list.
Most, if not all, Pro and Semipro drivers who drift S2000's change out the steering rack.
(I can't believe I just posted in a 'drift' thread)
IMO any autosport event that requires 'style' points to win, is more akin to figure skating that racing.

No one said you can't drift the S, we are just saying it is not practicle.
(as a side note, that car is driven by Stephan Papadakis and if you fallow drift you would know that this car is on the bottom of the drift world.)
yeah ive read that the steering rack for an s2000 isnt suited for drifting because it tries to correct for speed or something like that causing the driver to have to fight the wheel more. They ended up replacing it with a steering rack from a different car.
