wow...im wondering what this is then...?

Try getting some looser tires first and then decide. With the S02s, the car really sticks to the road despite how I coerce it, now I got some decent all season tires and I could get the back in to come out a bit. But with the peaky engine with its utter lack of torque and glass diff, you're going to be working harder than most. That said, you could pick up a good used s13/rps13 for under 3 grand with a lsd diff and go wild with that. Does not take much to get that car to drift, even heard some of the japanes folk preferring the ka engines for this purpose.
Well, they are using the s2k on their for some reason. It may not be in first but they picked it up for something. I think its a great accomplishment to be even be in the tournament...

(I can't believe I just posted in a 'drift' thread)
IMO any autosport event that requires 'style' points to win, is more akin to figure skating that racing.

if i had a 350z or something i wouldnt mind trying out some real drifting and who knows maybe i would be good at it, it would certainly be fun burning up expensive tires

1. To be different! To many S13, S14 and RX's in the drift world.
2. Because Stephan is a huge fan of the S2000
The car you see above was retrofitted with a steering rack out of an FD RX-7.
That and they set the suspension to bias the weight towards the front and added F/I

spending big money for drifting is as worthless as drifting itself.
Drift on! There is a new drift even badder than the Tokyo drift called the Electric Bugaloo.
You gotta nail the brakes when entering the turn, once the wheels are locked, you throw it in reverse and go WOT. It's RAD.
