S2000 bike rack. It might also work for a surf board. At $150, not too bad. I will need a rack soon or bum rides with my friends.

gotta agree with "scarv" on this.. I've seen too many scratches either to the lovely Merlin Titanium or a the trunk..

I have Saris Bones trunk mounted bike rack (2 years) and a Merlin Titanium Road Bike and neither has even a minor scratch on them. I have traveled as far as 80 miles to events in my car at speeds around 65-70 and the bike is solid as a rock. Caution and common sense are the key. I put cotton towels under the rubber feet and the hooks which fasten aroudn the trunk opening are rubber coated. I have the 2 bike model and it cost about $100. Another key is not too tighten straps until the bike is on the rack. There is even enough slack in the straps to wrap around bike frame for more stability. If you carry 2 bikes make sure inboard pedal is wrapped with a towel as it gets close to the trunk. With one bike use the outer position and the bike will not touch the trunk.

I posted this over 4 years ago, funny how it showed up today. I never bought a rack for my car, I use my van to transport bikes. Although, it is possible to fit a mtn bike in the passanger seat of a fiero, if you take the wheels off. I do not know of a good rack for the S2000.

Looks like the front tire mounts to the rack, looks like you can fit two bikes and two front wheels.

^^^You said that already.^^^

According to the order form you need to buy the bumper support as well. I think if your carefull this could be a pretty good solution.
