I would love to have the spoon exhaust, but living here in the bay area and especially in fremont, the cops here are complete JERKS. I have the comptech exhaust which is very deep and warm. I would still perfer the loud N1 racing exhaust. I'd have to fight too many tickets, and its probably not under 95db @ 3000-4000 rpm @ 50 ft

California Vehicle Code 27150.2a

Provisions for standards for vehicular exhaust systems, based
on manufacturers' data and subject to any inspections and other
verification the commissioner may prescribe. The regulations shall
include provisions specifying that exhaust systems installed on motor
vehicles, other than motorcycles, with a manufacturer's gross
vehicle weight rating of less than 6,000 pounds, that emit no more
than 95 dbA when tested in accordance with Society of Automotive
Engineers Standard J1169 May 1998, comply with Sections 27150 and
27151.

Doesn't anyone like the sound of the stock exhaust? I was impressed that it came from the factory sounding a little "grouchy".

Well I just heard his spoon exhaust and it is indeed loud I probably wouldn't have it because mine is a daily driver and I like to listen to music...

I think for now I'm going to try to get used to it!!

Remembering a decal I saw on a show hotrod..."If It's Too Loud, Your Too Old!"

Anyway I have decided to not change it until I hear in person the replacement...
whatever that is!!

So for now I will just keep on BOOMMMMIN!!!!

Good choice DigitalMan ... I was hoping you would say that, enjoy the N1 Spoon exhaust ... It's a great piece of work, but if you do decide later that it's too loud for you, get a Mugen exhaust system then ... It's no doubt one of the best sounding on the market and it is pretty quiet when compared to a stock exhaust system.
